ONLINE STATUS
The Delaware Division of Corporations is pleased to announce that it now can provide entity status online. This is not an official Certificate of Good Standing and will not generate a printed certificate to be mailed. This service only provides a screen returned to you that displays the current status of an entity. To receive a status inquiry on line, CLICK HERE. CERTIFIED CERTIFICATE OF STATUS/GOOD STANDING
Certified Certificates of Status/Good Standing cannot be ordered online.
Some Financial Institutions will require a good standing certificate or a certified copy of your new entity filing. Please check with your Financial Institution to determine whether additional information is required to establish a business account with them.
The fee is $30.00 per certificate for a Short Form Certificate of Status (certificate states the name and status of the entity) or $125.00 for a Long Form Certificate of Status (states the status along with the dates and type of all documents ever filed on the entity).
If you need a certified Certificate of
Status. You may order a Certificate of Status or
Certificate of Good Standing by submitting a request in writing
to the Division of Corporations. Please select either a Short Form Status certificate or a Long Form Status certificate. You may either use a Certification
Request Memo or your corporate letter head. Please
include your name, address, phone number, a fax number and an
email address if available. You must specify if you are
requesting Expedited Services. You may contact an
Expedited Service Representative at 302/739-3073 for
information on Expedited fees. All requests are sent out
first class mail unless you provide a Federal Express or UPS account number on your request. You may either
fax your request and charge a Visa, MasterCard or Discover card
